- This is Sophie's blogspot. Here I will post pictures and updates of her at least once a week to let everyone know how she is doing. Sophie was rescued on Friday March 12, 2010 thanks to the help of many people at our work and of course John Mann. She was very frightened and unsure of what the rest of her life had in store for her, but so far its turned out great. Sophie has her own backyard and even a sister named Zoey. And of course, now she knows that each morning and evening her meals will be brought to her without fail. It turns out Sophie does have heartworms which is a costly and deadly disease. I have included a link for anyone who might be able to donate to her treatment which won't take place for another 6 to 7 months. The vet estimates her to be around 4years old which means she has been on the streets for the majority, if not all, of her life. She is still adjusting to her new lifestyle but she seems to be very happy. Although she lives with me, really she is our "Wincor doggie" and I want to let everyone keep in touch with her and keep everyone updated with her progress. Check back often :)

ReplyDeleteYes she is :) And as time goes by, she'll only look better and better. I'm looking forward to seeing how she looks when she is at her ideal weight!
